Most medals end up in a drawer, a shoebox or hanging off a doorknob. A medal stand gives the one they worked hardest for a proper place on their desk or shelf, with a design from their own sport. It's a gift that's about them and what they did, not just another thing.

Every stand holds one medal on its own ribbon, is crafted in Brisbane after you order, and arrives fully assembled. The medal isn't included: it's made for the one they've already earned, or the one they're about to.

Choosing the right one

1. Start with their sport. Running, triathlon, swimming, athletics or pickleball. Each has its own designs below.

2. Match the event. For a runner, pick the distance they ran, from 5K to 42.2 KM, and it goes on the base. For a first marathon there's a stand made for exactly that. For a pickleball medal won in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast or Townsville, there's a stand with that city's skyline.

3. Make it theirs. The Finish Gantry has their name and finish time on its race clock. The Mini Finish has their name, their race and their finish time on its name plate. The Finisher With Your Time stands (running and triathlon) have their finish time set into the stand. All of them are raised and in colour, part of the stand itself.

Finding their finish time

You don't need to ask and spoil the surprise. Most fun runs, marathons, triathlons and ocean swims post results online. Search the event name and "results", find their name, and use the time shown. Type it exactly as it should read, for example 3:59:59 or 27:41.

Buying before race day, or can't find the time? Choose a design without one, like Finisher or The Road, which carry the distance only. It'll be ready and waiting when they get home with the medal.

  • Size: about 15 x 20 x 6 cm (the Finish Gantry is 24 x 20.3 x 7 cm, the Mini Finish 13 x 14.2 x 6.4 cm). Sits on a desk, shelf or in a trophy cabinet.
  • Fit: holds one medal on its own ribbon. Fits most standard race medals and ribbons.
  • Arrives ready: fully assembled, nothing to put together. Take it out of the box and hang the medal.
  • Send it straight to them: enter their address at checkout to post it direct, anywhere in Australia.
  • Timing: crafted to order and shipped within 5 business days, then 2 to 8 business days with Australia Post. Allow about two weeks before you need it.
